Accessibility

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. That is not a badge we are claiming after the fact — it shaped how the site was built.

What that means here

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visible.
• Status is never carried by colour alone. Whether the truck is open is a dot and a word, so it reads the same if you cannot tell the colours apart.
• Text and background contrast is checked against AA, including on the gold buttons.
• Every control is at least 44 by 44 pixels, because most of you are on a phone.
• Images carry real alternative text, and decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
• The site is served in more than one language, and each page tells the browser which one it is in, so a screen reader pronounces it correctly.
• Animation is switched off for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.

Where we know we fall short

The map on the Find us page is a schematic drawing. It has a text description, and the address and a directions link sit next to it, so no information is only in the picture.
